Welcome to

Sage Counselling

At Sage Counselling, we specialise in supporting people with mobility issues by bringing counselling to you - in the comfort of your own home, care home or hospital - making it easier for you to get the support you need.

We’re here to help if you’re:

  • Feeling isolated, low or depressed

  • Struggling with worry, anxiety or stress

  • Coping with illness, bereavement or big life changes

  • Looking for someone who understands

Counselling provides a confidential opportunity to explore problems and make meaning and sense from your personal experience.

Our counsellors are kind, respectful, and always take the time to listen. We believe in meeting people where they are, both emotionally and physically.

“Counselling has given me back my confidence at a very worrying time – helped me to get my balance – mental balance and physical balance – made me come back to society – I was on my own”

Costs & Contributions

Sage Counselling is a registered charity. Some counsellors give their time voluntarily and others receive a nominal fee to support their work or training, but it still costs us about £30,000 a year to operate. We ask for a standard fee for our counselling sessions, but no-one is turned away due to financial constraints.

As a small charity, donations go a long way: we ask clients for a contribution to their sessions, but many are on low incomes or in vulnerable situations. Your donation helps us keep counselling accessible for all.
