We believe in the value of continued learning, connection and reflective practice. Our training sessions support our counsellors and also welcome professionals from outside Sage who wish to join.

What We Offer

We run up to four workshops each year, covering a range of topics. Sessions are generally held on zoom, although when possible, we hold them in-person.

Training may include:

• Specialist topics related to ageing, illness, or end-of-life care

• Skills refreshers and ethical considerations

• Sessions led by in-house or external facilitators with expertise in the field
  

Some workshops are open only to Sage Counsellors, while others are open to external participants as part of our fundraising efforts

Costs

• Sage Counsellors: £7.50 per session (subsidised)

• External Counsellors/Psychotherapists: £30 per session
  

CPD Certification

All attendees receive a certificate of attendance for use as part of their Continued Professional Development (CPD) record.
