Join us as a Counsellor
Sage Counselling is unique in offering counselling at home to people with mobility issues across West Sussex.
We’re always looking for qualified and trainee counsellors who share our belief in accessible, respectful support and who have access to reliable transport.
Applications are welcomed from:
Student counsellors in their second year of training, working towards a diploma or bachelor’s/master’s degree in counselling or psychotherapy.
Qualified counsellors seeking opportunities, building hours toward accreditation or wanting to broaden your experience
Counsellors at Sage Counselling develop a firm grasp of boundaries and a belief in the efficacy of counselling as distinct from other more practical forms of caring. We have found that this work requires both maturity and confidence in the counselling role. Our experience has shown that this can be both a challenging and rewarding learning experience.
Our qualified counsellors receive nominal fees for their time, experience and travel expenses and our student counsellors receive travel expenses
