Ongoing recruitment of qualified and student counsellors.

We are looking for trained counsellors to join our dedicated team. If you would like the opportunity to broaden your experience or build your hours towards accreditation then we would like from you. 

Although we offer counselling throughout West Sussex, we are particularly looking for counsellors to work in the Crawley, Horsham and Haywards Heath areas as we have currently received a high number of referrals in these locations.

We are particularly interested in counsellors with a background in community work, but this is not essential. We offer fortnightly supervision with no charge.

Placements for counselling students.

Sage counselling is unique in that we visit client with mobility problems in their own homes.

Our experience has shown that this can be a challenging learning experience. However Students develop a firm grasp of boundaries and a belief in the efficacy of counselling as distinct from other more practical forms of caring. We have found that this work requires both maturity and confidence in the counselling role. Super vision is provided fortnight at no charge.

Inquiries for both qualified counsellors and student placement applications.

Applicants should be car drivers with a clean licence. Please submit two completed references, one each from college and workplace.

Or in the case of of qualified counsellors two workplace or other references.

Student applicants are asked to submit 250-500 words as to why they would want a placement with us. We want to ensure applicants understand about working with this client group.
